Nat possesses a unique talent for portraying relatable pain and delving into the depths of one’s darkest secrets, leaving the reader feeling exposed. Their writing style is reminiscent of the renowned Queen of Truth and Sorrow, Amy Tan.
While this book falls within the horror genre, it is so much more than that. The raw realism and instinctual drive for survival portrayed by the characters captivate the reader, immersing them in the story.
