I have devoured Jesse Q. Sutanto’s “I’m Not Done With You Yet,” and it was absolutely delicious. Reading this book was a pleasure; Talia’s story drew me in with its vividness, and I felt a strong connection to her as I read. Jane’s emotive journey was both captivating and relatable. Sutanto’s writing is entrancing and creates a world that, while you may not want to be a part of, you can’t help but look around and explore. Her books are filled with intense suspense and sharp wit, and this was no exception.
This was my fourth Sutanto book of the year, and I can confidently say she is my author of the year. Her sharp plot twists, sarcasm, overbearing relatives, and lovable characters (Vera for President 2024) make her stories impossible to put down
She is hands down, my author of 2023.
(queen of twists. period.)
