Why I write:
.
Professionally:
“I simply do.” Is the most straightforward response to this inquiry. It has become my customary practice to pause and reflect. This residence has been meticulously crafted to cultivate an appreciation for literature, art, and their nuanced reception. From a young age, books have been an outlet for my thoughts and emotions, providing solace as I navigate life’s inevitable challenges. My passion for literary works has led me to establish a BookBlog and Bookstagram in 2022, through which I have had the pleasure of connecting with esteemed publicists, publishing houses, authors, marketers, and fellow enthusiasts who share a reverence for the art of writing.
My journey into the realm of literature was sparked by SueLynn Tan’s “Daughter of a Moon Goddess,” a poignant tale of one woman’s quest for independence, love, and honor in the Moon Kingdom. This book resonated deeply with me, offering solace during a time when my inner turmoil was akin to an open can of black paint, and I dove right in. Tan’s writing became my guiding light, inspiring me to champion the literary arts and all forms of beauty and intrigue that capture my attention.
It is important to remember that art is subjective, having the power to evoke serenity or provoke anger within different individuals. As such, it is essential to approach art with sensitivity and respect. While we are entitled to our own opinions, it is crucial to consider how our words and actions may impact others. In a world that is constantly evolving, we must strive to find happiness and cultivate kindness towards one another, recognizing, and celebrating our unique differences.
I specialize in anti-aging skin care as well as people of color. I am a lab-type guy.
Personally:
As a child, I had a strong desire to secure the coveted position of first in line at the scholastic book fair, often resorting to bartering my snacks to achieve this goal. However, my stature as the shortest in the class often granted me this privilege without the need for such tactics. In times past, it was customary for the most diminutive among us to assume leadership positions. How times have changed? My love for literature has long surpassed any desire for idle conversations unless the subject pertains to science or the indulgence of coffee and food. While I am amiable and personable, I do prioritize my reading pursuits, adhering to the mantra “What would Dolly do?” At times, I find myself emulating her preference for solitude in favor of immersing oneself in the written word. I do not subscribe to the constructs of popularity or unpopularity, nor do I align myself with any particular group or label. My teenage years instilled in me a strong sense of independence, and I am equally comfortable attending a Slipknot concert as I am at a Lilith Fair event. Art is a fundamental aspect of my life, and I am most in tune with its soul through visual and sonic expressions. Museums, live music, and the pulsating energy of a crowd all captivate me. As an ardent admirer of exceptional lyricism, luminaries such as Dolly Parton, Tori Amos, Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, BellSaint, and Joy Williams hold a special place in my heart.
Gossip:
I am currently betrothed, although I cannot say with certainty when the nuptials will take place. As life is unpredictable, I am content with the knowledge of who I return to each day. I am also the proud caretaker of two rescued feline (sibling) companions, whom I consider my beloved children. My residence is situated in the vibrant and bustling city of New York.
